Exhibition Manager
Melbourne: $80-90,000 plus super plus bonus

This highly prominent national exhibition organiser is seeking an experienced Exhibition Manager to project manage the planning and delivery of a portfolio of four annual exhibitions across Australia.
 
You will be specifically responsible for building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, developing marketing strategies, producing and managing exhibition budgets, management of event logistics and operations, timeline and project management, developing sales strategies and pursuing exhibitor and sponsorship sales opportunities and leading and managing the event team.
 
To be a success in this position you will have previous experience in the exhibition or large scale events sector and be a strategic thinker. You will have superior business development, client relationship, team leadership and financial management skills. You will also be an accomplished negotiator, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to work under pressure, possess a flexible nature along with energy, creativity and attention to detail.

Business Development Manager
Melbourne: $70,000 plus super plus bonus ($110,000 OTE)

A national event management business seeks a proactive Business Development manager to take responsibility for building business and profit from new and existing clients across all their service and product offerings.
 
Specifically you will develop and maintain a comprehensive client service plan, develop and manage individual sales pipelines, attend new client appointments, write and present proposals to clients, attend regular supplier meetings/functions and company conferences, undertake market research and ensure all relevant reporting is completed and delivered.
 
You will require demonstrated sales ability along with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship development skills, written communication skills, an ability to analyse client briefs, strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, team focus, adaptability, ability to accept responsibility and computer literacy (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Any knowledge of event management operational processes is a distinct advantage.

Contract PR/Senior Executive Assistant
Western Sydney: Immediate Start – $30-$35 plus super per hour
 

Due to an internal secondment within this local government organisation, an opportunity has arisen for a varied role supporting a senior member of staff.

Main responsibilities for this role will include executive assistance relating to appointment and correspondence management, creation of press releases and photography responsibilities. Other administrative duties will also be required ad hoc, but as this is a newly created position the other responsibilities are still be coordinated.

Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as is previous senior level secretarial experience.

Conference Producer
Northern Sydney: $65,000 plus super plus bonus
 

An innovative media company seeks a motivated and talented self-starter to take sole charge responsibility for the research, speaker procurement, program management and content production for a range of conference and seminar events. You will also be required to keep up to date with trends and developments in specific industry sectors and contribute ideas leading to the conception of future conference topics and agendas.

Senior Event Producer
Sydney: $100-120,000

This global event and marketing agency seeks a highly capable event producer to take responsibility for the strategic development of their clients’ experiential programs across event management and production activity.

Specifically you will be responsible for planning and executing events from initial brief to final activation, on strategy, on time, on budget and exceeding client expectations; mentoring and supervising the team, managing resource allocation and delegation and identifying training need; establishing and developing strong client relationships; developing event contingency plans; maintaining effective event budget tracking, estimate development and forecasting; assisting with new business propositions and identifying potential business opportunities; and contributing to overall idea generation.

You will require some 10-12 years relevant industry experience and be an accomplished team leader with senior management skills. This will include the ability to select, allocate and manage staff resources across multiple campaigns, strategic experiential and event program development and live event management and production expertise, expert financial budgeting skills, digital production knowledge and client relationship building and negotiation expertise.

To succeed in the role you will be able to scope and  manage multiple projects at once; lead by example and  naturally impart your knowledge to guide the growth and development of your team; have the ability to listen and encourage those around you to communicate their points of view; have the ability to work autonomously, but innately be a team player; deliver more than what the client wants; spot revenue driving opportunities; have superior risk management skills but also the ability to break new ground through initiative and commercial acumen; approach challenges with an open mind and understand there is no such thing as mission impossible; and do everything with integrity and strive to do the ‘right thing not the easy thing’.
