is now accepting applications to fill the following positions:-

Marketing & Communications Manager (Johor)
 Diploma / Degree in related field
 At least 10 years of marcom experience
 Responsible for the comprehensive integrated communications function
 Accountable for the development and maintenance of the corporate identify, branding, communications and publicity strategies
 Provides direction for the properties’ website structure, ensures new information is regularly added to the site and other communications media
 Develops, prepares, negotiates and administers the media contracts
 Develops strong sales team relations, press relations, government relations and community relations
 Excellent writing and oral communication skills required
 Ability to manage multiple projects on tight datelines
 Ability to write and maintain print and online sales collateral, including internal and external website
 Track, review and analyze marketing programs

Rooms Division Manager (Johor)
 Diploma / Degree in related field
 At least 5 years related hospitality experience, which includes a minimum of 3 years front office experience and 2 years management experience
 Position reports to the hotel manager and is responsible for the management, evaluation and performance of all rooms division functions
 Extensive knowledge of hotels, its services and facilities, with a passion for guest service
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, complimented by professional maturity and strong leadership skills
 Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
 Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and guest requests

Borneo Convention Centre Kuching is now seeking suitable candidates to fill the following positions:-

1. Executive Sous Chef
• Preferably with Executive Sous Chef experience in 5-star hotel / catering establishment or at least 5 years as Sous Chef in 5-star hotel / catering establishment industry and with pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Possess a good all-round experience of all kitchen sections
• Must be familiar with HACCP guidelines and local food preparation
• Must be able to write and communicate in English
• Strong leadership qualities and good basic computer skills

2. Chef de Cuisine – Specialty Restaurant
• Possess a good knowledge of Western and Asian Cooking with emphasis on modern fusion fine-dinning cuisine.
•  Must have at least 5 years relevant experience in a 5-star establishment of  which 3 years have been in a leading position
• Possess an extensive Fine Dining experience, hands on supervision of restaurant operations including: establishing menus, daily buffets and costing in co-operation with the Exec. Chef

3. Chinese Chef
• Preferably with working experience as Chinese Chef in 5-star Hotel / catering establishment or at least 5 years as  Assist. Chinese Chef in 5-star operation
• Possess excellent knowledge in all fields of large & small Chinese operations
• Extensive knowledge and skill in preparation of different types of Chinese Cuisine with emphasis on Cantonese cuisine and individually served portions
• Be able to converse in English
• Possess good leadership qualities and good basic computer knowledge

4. Pastry Chef
• Knowledge in all fields of a full scale pastry operation i.e.; Cake /Wedding cake décor, pastries, chocolate and ice cream production, sugar work and bakery
• 8 years relevant experience in 5-star establishments out of which 2 years were in the same position, Pre-opening experience  is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong leadership qualities and basic computer skills

5. Sous Chef
• Previous working experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel / catering establishment or at least 5 years as a Chef de Partie in 5-star hotels / catering and with Pre-opening experience is an advantages.
• Must have a good all-round experience of all kitchen sections, specializing in at least two of these fields; Western, Garde Manger, Chinese or Malay kitchen
• Must be familiar with the HACCP guidelines and local food preparation
• Must be able to write and conserve in English
• Possess strong leadership qualities and good basic computer skills

7. Steward Executive
• Previously working experience as a Steward Executive or at least 5 years as Assistant Chief Steward in any International Hotel / catering establishment. Pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Possess good all-round knowledge of all F & B equipment and tools related to operations, hygiene, food safety regulations and chemical procurement and cost
• Able to write and conserve in English
• Possess strong leadership qualities and good basic computer skills
