The right candidate will be responsible for sourcing, developing convention, incentive and meetings business from corporate companies, associations, professional conference organisers and incentive houses with in the tourism industry both at a domestic and international level. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to;
• Sales calls, to corporate, Travel agents and PCOs
• Familiarisation visits both domestically and internationally to increase Sales of Clients Products
• Assist in Marketing/Promotions activities
• Telemarketing and updating of CRM system (Goldmine)
• Organising product updates and familiarisations
• Preparing sales reports, clients Powerpoint presentations
• Proposals for new & potential clients
• Follow up proposals
• Experience in the travel industry all levels
• Develop business relationships & profile
• Excellent communication/networking /teamwork skills
• Excellent computer skills, word/excel and PowerPoint presentations skills imperative
• Excellent presentation skills required
