This national expo is for anyone involved within the business, corporate, association, incentive and festival events industry and organisers for the show are excited to be working with ICMI and for the opportunity to include some of their talented speakers and entertainers at the VIP Breakfast and as part of attractions on the Showtime Stage and in the Green Room.

Over the two days of the expo, ICMI Speakers and Entertainers will present a variety of speakers, entertainers and emcees throughout the expo so visitors can hear first hand a selection of great ideas for dinners, awards ceremonies and seminars or conventions. Visitors to the expo will also get to meet with the speakers personally in the Green Room to discuss how they can ensure your next event is one your guests will remember.

Currently booked for the expo is the extraordinary Young Australian of the Year 2005, Khoa Do. Visitors are invited to hear his inspirational story about arriving in Australia as a refugee and his incredible journey to become an award-winning film director, screenwriter and teacher. Tracey Spicer is also on the billing. As one of Australia’s most experienced and credible news presenters for more than 20 years on commercial television, Tracey’s presenting skills make her the perfect choice for an emcee at any awards dinner. Additionally, Ella James will give a light-hearted, humorous presentation on High Voltage Happiness, a motivational talk on how happiness can improve your work and home life. Ella’s experience comes from many years in Australian media, primarily radio, but she is also known for her stand up comedy routines.

The Showtime Stage and Green Room is only one of the innovative and exciting attractions at the Australian Events Expo. You will also see, taste, hear and enjoy literally hundreds of unique solutions from throughout Australia, from accommodation and catering through to venues, entertainment, logistics and attractions.

The Australian Events Expo will be held on May 16 and May 17, 2007, at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and is being hosted by the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau.
