It’s ‘one to one’ on board SeaDream. With a ratio of one crew member to one passenger, SeaDream offers the most `utterly exclusive experience’ (as quoted by Berlitz) and is ranked ‘best in the world’ by Conde Nest Traveler (three years running). It’s little wonder I thought I was dreaming. Well, it was actually the real deal and more. SeaDreaming around the Mediterranean from Athens to Istanbul for seven nights was an unforgettable experience. We called into the Greek island ports of Hydra, Mykonos, Santorini and Patmos, then we sailed into Turkey and visited Kusadasi (including Ephesus) Canakkale and Istanbul.
It could be just the ticket for your top performers as well. High achievers are offered many forms of incentive rewards, including cash, travel and merchandise. With the very competitive nature of business today and company owners expecting budgets not only to be met but to be exceeded beyond previous years, there’s got to be more on offer than just the ‘norm’ to help us all push the envelope just a little further. I’ve been on the receiving end of some fantastic incentive gifts and rewards over the years, and now I feel my appetite for that ultimate dream reward has been satisfied.
The whole experience starts right from the word go. On boarding SeaDream you’ll enter the unforgettable world of the Sea Yacht Club where nothing is too much trouble - a cliché for some, but reality for SeaDream. You’ll be met by the crew while you enjoy cocktails in the lounge as your luggage is being taken to your state room. During the cruise you’ll dine on the finest and freshest food in the world (Norweign oysters, Beluga caviar, truffle risotto with sautéed quail…. yum), you’ll be served exquisite wines from Tuscany, Spain, France, Australia, South Africa, you’ll sleep on the finest Belgian linens, down duvets and pillows, and you’ll lather yourself with Bvlgari designer bathroom amenities. You’ll visit interesting islands, towns and cities, you’ll sip champagne and cocktails by the pool, get a suntan, go to the gym, get in some yoga or indulge in water sports, test your skills in the golf simulator, spend hours in the spa (oh yeah!), and have a massage or three.
Geared up for an exclusive clientele, SeaDream offers their 110 guests the best of the best, their philosophy being “it’s all about quality, style and service.” Each of their 54 elegantly appointed state rooms and Owner’s Suite, are located on the outer side of the yacht, all with ocean views and queen or twin accommodation with state-of-the-art equipment as standard in each room – flat screen TV, internet access, DVD and CD player, 100/220 volt outlets.
SeaDream is a high achievers’ ultimate reward, suitable for select top achiever groups booking up to 18 state rooms. Alternatively, companies may choose a sole-use charter and transform the entire yacht into their own floating corporate reward. Everything from signage, collateral, food, beverages and itineraries can be customised to suit. The ship is in your hands….you essentially become the captain.
The yacht can cater for meeting groups up to 110 people with lunch and dinners served either inside or outside for the entire group. Sole use will give you the opportunity to bring in your own entertainment, organise specific meals with the chef, customise all team-building activities (as mentioned above), and you can also negotiate your own land/tour content to suit your numbers and timeframe. Imagine being able to take your group off to a concert in Ephesus and walk along the same marble paths and stairways which have been worn down by the likes of Julius Caesar. No need to bring in themeing, you’re surrounded by it!
