It welcomes one million visitors to over 100 events each year and is home to Trade Shows, Sports Events, Conferences, Gala Dinners, Team Building Events, Product Launches, Staged Productions and Public Exhibitions. Organisers are so satisfied with their Adelaide Showground experience three quarters of the events hosted in 2005/06 were repeat business.

There is no other venue in the State that can provide such a range of different spaces able to match such a variety of uses. From the vast expanses of the Jubilee and Wayville Pavilions, and the contemporary elegance of the Ridley Centre, to the rustic, historic charm of The Old Ram Shed, there is a venue capable of hosting virtually any style or size of event, indoor or outdoor.

Just five minutes from the CBD, the Adelaide Showground offers significant amenities: 20,000 sqm of air-conditioned exhibition space, tiered seating for 400 people, parking for 2,000 cars, wireless internet (the only major exhibition venue in Adelaide to provide it), kitchens that can serve up to 1,000 guests and a wealth of expertise committed to the smooth organisation of each event hosted here.
In reality, it is not just the facilities but the people that set the Adelaide Showground apart. The staff have a “can do” attitude that is solution-driven and dedicated to finding ways of achieving each event organiser’s vision.

The Adelaide Showground will continue to confirm its relevance to the changing needs of SA with bold new plans being considered for the future. This vision encompasses new exhibition spaces, multi-purpose spaces capable of accommodating community and sporting activities that will provide event organisers with a whole new gamut of opportunities.

People, facilities, choice, flexibility, vision. It’s no wonder the Adelaide Showground continues to be an iconic venue in South Australia. It is indeed the Centre of Attention.
