Visitors from around the world travel to Byron Bay to enjoy the subtropical climate, breathtaking natural beauty and diverse mix of residents, from millionaires to mystics, surfers to those seeking a sea change. It is unique, friendly, innovative, creative, fun and picturesque. It is exciting to have an Australian destination that creates a theme and sets the energy and pace for your event purely by its own character. In short, it is good for the soul.

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa offers a professional and stress-free venue for conference delegates. Set within a stunning 45 acre lush rainforest the resort allows you to create a relaxed and inspirational environment for your next conference. The 216 square metre conference space caters for up to 180 delegates. The space may be used in total or divided into two or three rooms. Private conference verandahs make for great break out areas overlooking the lush rainforest.

The resort also offers some beautiful on-site dining options. Enjoy a degustation dinner for up to 80 delegates on the Rainforest Verandah, welcome cocktails and canapés on the Spa Deck, a gourmet BBQ dinner under palm trees and paper barks deep in the rainforest of the Chinese Gardens or a sunny luncheon on the Restaurant Lawn.

The Byron region now has an array of both on-site and off-site activities to make your conference experience whatever you want it to be. Aside from the favourites of learning to surf, kayaking with the dolphins, snorkelling tours and the newly upgraded championship Byron Bay Golf Club, Byron Bay’s experience continues to grow. These include Circus School at The Byron Entertainment Centre, horse riding on the beach, hot air ballooning, an array of team-building activities as well as ‘a plant a tree’ carbon offset activity.

Access to Byron Bay by air from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide has been made easier with an increase in direct fights to Coolangatta/Gold Coast airport. Air New Zealand will soon commence direct flights from Auckland to Coolangatta along with Virgin Blue commencing direct flights from Canberra. Since the upgrade to the Pacific Highway, transfer from Coolangatta to Byron Bay is now an easy 45 minutes. The long awaited Tugan bypass is due to open June 2008 which will reduce the drive from Brisbane to Byron Bay to as little as 1.5 hours.

Experience all this for yourself. During the months of June and July The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa will be hosting its first ever mega familarisation. This event will showcase the very best of what Byron Bay and The Byron at Byron Resort has to offer. To register your expression of interest in attending this event or for any further resort information please email The Byron at Byron conference team on sales@thebyronatbyron.com.au, call1300 554 362, or visit www.thebyronatbyron.com.au.
