Applications are invited by event planners for Australian events held in 2007 in categories including: • Corporate event of the year • Charity event of the year • Awards night event of the year • Event caterer of the year • Event venue of the year • Launch event of the year • Event entertainer of the year • Event production of the year • Festival event of the year • Sporting event of the year

Entries are open from now until March 2008 with winners announced at the RSVP Sydney 08 Party After Dark on July 2, 2008. Entries will be judged by a judging panel independent of BT Publishing.
The cost to enter is $110 (including GST) per submission. Category finalists will be sent an official VIP invitation to attend the RSVP Sydney 08 Party After Dark event.

BT Publishing’s Helen Batt-Rawden says the aim of the e-awards is to give business owners, marketers, corporates and those working in the events industry a tangible opportunity to receive recognition for the hard work they do, and also help raise the profile of the all-important special events industry.

For further details about the e-awards including entry requirements visit www.mice.net.au and click on the e-awards logo on the right of the page.
