AIME is a great way to start the year, with two days of business, education and networking that can set you up for the year ahead.

New initiatives for AIME 2008 include 10 new Master Classes, the ICMI Speaker’s Showcase, a networking hour each afternoon at AIME’s Globe Restaurant, a new AIME club night called MIX@Fusion and a corporate shuttle bus service to make getting to AIME even easier.

AIME’s popular Business Events Forum will feature an international line-up of senior practitioners who will discuss the impact of the green revolution on the meetings industry and what the business events sector is doing to ensure its own future.

The second forum will include a panel of four practitioners presenting case studies on recent challenging events. From success factors and problems encountered to lessons learned, delegates will gain first-hand information from some of the best in the business.

AIME is also keen to set the agenda on green exhibitions with its new environmental policy being implemented in 2008. Exhibitors will be asked to bring less and remove or recycle everything left at the end of the event. Media will use a paperless media office and visitors will also be asked to recycle everything from name badges and lanyards to even the AIME Daily newsletter, which will also be available electronically.

More than 850 exhibitors are expected from around 50 countries plus over 2600 visitors, hosted buyers and media.

To register for AIME, book seminars or for further information visit the AIME website at www.aime.com.au.
