What did you want to be when you grew up: I really didn’t have a set idea of what I wanted to be, however I always thought of how I wanted to be: grown up, sophisticated and just like Sophia Loren… Your first job: A junior sales role with PolyGram Records which was fabulous and full of energy, a great place to start to grow and develop. Your first pay packet: Not much. Mum took it all and said one day I would be rich if she saved my money for me. Unfortunately she weakened after the first week of my pleadings. Your first break: Starting with a European international airline which allowed me to see the world. For someone who was looking to become sophisticated and “be” just like Sophia, this was a step in the right direction, it was life changing. Describe your current role: Leveraging global partnerships in a business development role. My workplace is incredibly welcoming, professional yet natural. I am very happy and still get to travel, which is a passion of mine. The best part of your job: The people I work with and all the satisfied clients. The worst: Having to answer a question like this… Who has inspired you: My mum. You should meet her. Your best quality: My smile and just being me. Your worst quality: [I’m] not going there. Your best achievement: Becoming a mum. My 10 year old, Stefan is my best little buddy. I adore him.
