1. Plan your week ahead – on a Sunday evening. Have an activity to work on an aspect of your top three goals each week.

2. Stay in charge of your time. Check and answer emails two to three times a day.

3. Delegate – constantly ask, is there someone else who could do this task?

4. Learn to say no – if it’s not in your goals, plans or strategy, ( I am still working on this one!)

5. It’s all life – be more interested in your engagement and enjoyment than your task.

1. When you are home ensure that you are “present” WLB is about quality of time, when you are home ensure you are truly there!

2. Make sure your day is productive. When you start to procrastinate think “would I rather stuff around or spend time with my family?”

3. Be discerning about where your energy goes. Do the things you spend time on really matter to the bottom line of the business?

4. Get a good night’s sleep, you can achieve so much more when you are rested and have energy.

5. Control your environment, we lose so much time to interruptions and distractions, learn to push back!

1. Loosen the paradigm that work and life are separate. Change your attitude and balance will be yours.

2. Don’t be too rigid in your weekly schedule. Allow some spontaneity- these are often the times we feel true connection and joy.

3. Fuel your body with easy to digest, nutritious plant foods. This provides the body and mind clean energy necessary for all aspects of your work/life.

4. Enjoyable exercise is essential. Exercise releases stress you may have from work and if the body is stagnant, the stress is stagnant. Move it out!

5. Have personal/spiritual items at your workplace to keep you grounded. They remind you who you are and bring you a sense of calm.
