Being an event producer, a common discussion that takes place in our office is: where would we hold this event if we could hold it anywhere? What location best matches the brand? Can we get an unusual venue - somewhere that’s never been used before?

Then we work out how to make it happen.

Unconventional ‘non venues’ have large risks attached; but if managed correctly and executed well, they also come with large rewards.

Take a shell and transform it. Make the industrial setting the star. Be creative with containers. Shake up a shop. Makeover a market.

When you start to think about it, the choices are endless .....

Get creative with your venues and make a statement with where you hold your next event.

Check out more unusual venue ideas and inspiration by going to the mice.net website – www.btp.net.au and clicking on the contributors tab.
