GSEs wall of inspiration October 2009

Multi Purpose Creativity

This month, the attention of the GSE team has been caught by the subject of ‘Dual-Purpose’: interesting things that perform two or more functions simultaneously.

Finding these key items for your events can create a talking point and add an element of fun.

We have been inspired by the slightly unusual, such as Romain Laurent’s recent # 41 WAD magazine cover featuring a working human clock (www.romain-laurent.com), as well as the regular functional objects that we use in events all the time: furniture that doubles as lighting, food that doubles as pieces of art and bars that also act as a stage.
