The Good Group has become a finalist in five categories of The Remarkables Southern Lakes Hospitality Awards for its Queenstown and Wanaka operations.

 

The group own and operate a host of bars, restaurants and liquor outlets across the South Island, and is in the running to win a range of awards including outstanding restaurant and restaurant food for Botswana Butchery.

 

German-born chef Michael Mohr, who has been working with Good Group since 2007, said he was thrilled with the nomination. 

 

“The nomination for me means an industry-wide recognition of our achievements with Botswana Butchery over the last three years,” he said.

The winners will be announced at the awards night on Sunday September 12, 2010 in Queenstown.
