Grand Pacific Tours passengers have voted the Scenic Hotel Bay of Islands as the best accommodation on the popular 19 day tour for the fourth time.

 

The tour includes two nights at the hotel which is set amongst sub-tropical surrounds in Paihia. The property scored 9.23 out of 10 for accommodation, food and service, and was ahead of 11 other hotels.

 

John Duxbury, general manager, says the hotel and staff were thrilled to receive the award again which reflected a combination of the hotel’s charming location, the comfort achieved through its $6 million redevelopment in recent years and the friendly, professional service delivered by staff.
