What did you want to be when you grew up: A spy or secret agent, and I was really serious about it. Your first job:  As a musician, playing my two-string Chinese Violin as background music for people who were dining in the hotel restaurant that I worked for. Your first pay packet: 4000rmb (per month) before tax, I was quite proud of it, as the average income at that time was only 1200rmb. Your first break: I performed for the official China movie festival awards ceremony, with lots of famous pop stars and movie stars. Describe your current role: I am an account manager, but as we have such a multi-disciplinary team in our China office, we all play multi-roles. I’m an event manager, account manager, sometimes office manager and accountant as well! The best part of your job: Learning and [it’s] rewarding. Every event has a different theme, so I always learn new things, making new contacts on projects; then, after the event has finished, you know you did a good job, people appreciate what you’ve done. It’s the best feeling ever. The worst: Long nights (working), it’s really bad for my skin, and if the venue is in the open air, it can get quite scary working in the dark! Who has inspired you: Anna Patterson, my director. She is so creative. Your best quality: My smile, and my colleagues think that I am bubbly, outgoing and I’ve got personality. Your worst quality: My obsession with handbags.
