Travelodge is part of the Australian-owned Toga Hospitality group, one of the fastest growing hotel groups in the South Pacific with 46 properties in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.  Also under the Toga umbrella is Medina Apartment Hotels, Adina Apartment Hotels (Europe) and Vibe Hotels.
Travelodge Wellington – formerly the Copthorne Hotel Wellington Plimmer Towers – and Travelodge Palmerston North – formerly the Novotel Palmerston North – are now open.

Toga Hospitality CEO, Rachel Argaman, says Travelodge is known for its great value and a recent brand regeneration has provided Travelodge hotels with a fresh, modern style and a real-time online booking service.

“This booking system is integral to the group’s overall guest service philosophy enabling us to cross-sell, initiate new promotions, and provide guests with personal attention.  Using this system we build comprehensive customer profiles that are invaluable for managing, building and enhancing our products and services.”

Travelodge offers comfortable, clean and well-equipped accommodation.
“Toga Hospitality has built its success on understanding its customers’ expectations and over-delivering,” Ms Argaman says.

The Travelodge brand was in New Zealand some years ago, but not managed by Toga Hospitality. The new Travelodge Hotels are a new generation of Travelodge Hotels for New Zealand.
